1. Click the Apple menu, go to Control Panels, and choose Remote Access. (For Open Transport/PPP, Click the Apple menu, go to Control Panels, and choose PPP.) 
2. Edit the contents of the Number field. Click here for a list of dialup numbers (Please remember to place a 1 in front of the area code if it's different than the one you're calling from.) 
3. Close the window. 4. Click the Save button. |

1. Click the Apple menu, go to Control Panels, and choose Free PPP Setup.
2. Click the arrow below the telephone icon so it's pointing down. 
3. Click the Accounts tab. 4. Select bway.net (or whatever you may have named the profile that dials into bway.net), and click Edit. 
5. Edit the contents of the Phone number field. Click here for a list of dialup numbers (Please remember to place a 1 in front of the area code if it's different than the one you're calling from.) For later versions of FreePPP: at this point you'll have to click on the Dialup tab to edit the Phone number field. 
6. Click OK. 7. Close the FreePPP Setup window. |

1. Open Internet Connect in the Applications folder
2. Select the "Phone" symbol from the icons at the top 3. Use the Configuration: drop-down menu to select your Bway account 4. Enter the new telephone number (with area code) in the Telephone Number: field  5. Add @bway.net after your username in the Account Name: field 6. When you exit "Internet Connect, you will be asked whether to save your changes; select Save. | |||||
