| Changing Your Bway Dial-up Number |

- Open Trumpet Winsock. (This is the program which you use to connect to Bway.)
- Click Dialer.
- Select setup.cmd.
- A window will pop up containing the phone number which your modem currently uses to connect to Bway. Click here for
dialup numbers
- Click OK.
- Two more windows will appear containing your username and password. Click OK on
each.
- Next, you need to change your login script. For instructions, see our New Trumpet Script page.

| Windows 95 / 98 / ME |
- Double-click on My Computer.
- Double-click on Dial-Up Networking.
- In Dial-Up Networking you should be able to find an icon which refers to your Bway connection. This is probably called "bway.net" or "bway" but could also be "My Connection" or anything else that you chose when you configured your computer. Click this icon with your right mouse button, and select Properties from the drop-down list. The window will look like one of the following:
 Windows 95
 Windows 98
 Windows ME
- One of the settings that you will see in this window indicates the phone number which your modem uses to connect with Bway. Click here for
dialup numbers
- Click OK. You are now ready to connect to the new phone number.

- Double-click on the My Computer icon.
- Double-click on Control Panel icon.
- Double-click on Network and Dial-up Connections
- Here you should be able to find an icon which refers to your Bway connection. This is probably called "bway.net" or "bway" but could also be "My Connection" or anything else that you chose when you configured your computer. Click this icon with your right mouse button, and select Properties from the drop-down list.
- One of the settings that you will see in this window indicates the phone number which your modem uses to connect with Bway. Click here for dialup numbers.
- Click OK. You are now ready to connect to the new phone number.

- Double-click on the My Computer icon.
- Double-click on Dial-Up Networking icon.
- Select your bway.net connection from the drop-down list (This is probably called "bway.net" or "bway" but could also be "My Connection" or anything else that you chose when you configured your computer.) and hit the More button.
- From the menu that appears, select Edit entry and modem properties.
- One of the settings that you will see in this window indicates the phone number which your modem uses to connect with Bway. Click here for dialup numbers.
- Click OK. You are now ready to connect to the new phone number.

- Double-click your connection icon

- Change the number in the Dial field
- After you have made your changes, click Dial. A window will pop up asking if you want to make the phone number change permanent. Click
Yes.
