SMTP authentication allows you to send email through our servers no matter how you are connected to the internet. When you use another ISP to connect to our servers, normally you would have to check (POP) your email before being allowed to send messages out through our servers - SMTP authentication allows you to simply send without requiring you to constantly check your email.

Tools Account Settings Outgoing Server (SMTP) Highlight the account you wish to edit and click Edit Under Security and Authentication check Use name and password and enter your email address in the User Name field. Click OK
