Who am I?

To really get to know me though, you may wish to read the answer I give below. That provides a little insight to the way my mind typically works. You will learn more this way, but some people want to get there FAST, so I provide the shortcuts for them.

Who am I? Well, that can be a rather philosophical question, but I have been doing some reading lately that makes me feel like tackling it in that light.

My mother is an artist/idealist, a former dance educator. Her life stands for helping people to discover beauty on this Earth through their own bodies. She has kindled a fire in the artistic hearts of many through her love of the Arts, and Dance in particular.

My father is a builder of organizations, and a visionary leader who knows how to put people together to make things happen. He cuts through tremendous swaths of red tape and leaves in his wake a new thing...a school, a company, an advertising agency, a theatre series... whatever the needed institution, he seems to build it up and then move on before it becomes about routine maintainance tasks.

In synthesizing these two points of view, I can get one very good approximation of my purpose in life. Perhaps I am here to illuminate the way for others to see beauty where before they merely saw the mundane.

Too corny? Perhaps. It's a work in progress. I'll let you know when I am fully satisfied with my comprehension and self expression of this mystery... probably on my deathbed, but I will keep working on it 'til then.
