  Never heard of SHOUTcast? SHOUTcast is a streaming audio system for Windows and Unix platforms. SHOUTcast allows anyone with a Winamp player and an internet connection to broadcast over the internet. SHOUTcast broadcasts have exploded all over the net -- it's easier to listen and easier to broadcast than ever before.
  Get started with Shoutcast:
  Live365.com is an easy directory of SHOUTcast stations broken out by genre (alternative, hiphop, international, etc.) and popularity. You can also broadcast your own mp3s. If you've ever wanted to be a DJ, then Broadcast It Yourself.
  WMP3.Net-- independent and unsigned bands.
  Slapradio -- Marilyn Manson, hiphop and things you haven't heard for awhile.
  Mungusradio -- Metallica all the time and other heavy metal. They take requests.
  Ivory Tower -- the music of Alphaville, a German band reminiscent of Roxy Music.
  Alien Shore Radio -- Techno. You need a high-speed connection for this one.
  Legacy Tunez -- Classics from the 70s and 80s. Also takes requests.
