STREAMING AUDIO AND MP3
Lots of changes in the world of online audio. Read on.
If you have any interest at all in streaming audio and MP3 (and I have to assume that you do if you've reached this page), head over to Winamp and download the latest release of Winamp's MP3 player. A cool feature is a minibrowser that lists the top 50 SHOUTcast sites and links to the webpages of the SHOUTcast broadcasters. STREAMING AUDIO Never heard of SHOUTcast? SHOUTcast is a streaming audio system for Windows and Unix platforms. SHOUTcast allows anyone with a Winamp player and an internet connection to broadcast over the internet. SHOUTcast broadcasts have exploded all over the net -- it's easier to listen and easier to broadcast than ever before. NEWS Last updated April 9, 2000
